JP Hartnett - Stephenson

A definite highlight for many at least years festival  was when we debunked to the Jolly Roger pub on the final day for a wonderful Sunday session wherein everyone got to take some time out, recharge the batteries and then try and drink the pub dry (we succeeded btw) before heading back to the site for the closing sets of the festival.

This year we will be taking a lil extra advantage of the pub, most notably of its piano. To start things off on Sunday JP Hartnett, who performed last year as one half of drone / techno duo Ordinate, will be showcasing another side of his many musical abilities. JP has been composing solo piano pieces for many a year and, to be blunt, we think that shit is pretty darn special, and will be perfectly suited to ease you into the closing day of the festival. Within the intimate surroundings of the pub JP will perform solo for an hour on the house piano, and to whet ones appetite for this special occasion, take some time out to listen to "Stephenson" a stirring, emotional ten minute composition that JP has provided for us a sneak preview for Sunday afternoon.
